New Core Network
As well as helping our customers with their digital transformation, we’ve been practising what we preach! So, first of all, we are super-excited to announce the upgrade of our new £1.1M state of the art Core Network.
By utilising our networking expertise to design and implement a completely new, fully resilient high-speed fibre Wide Area Network (WAN) we are now firmly in the driving seat to support both our needs and the needs of our customers for many years to come. Based on world-leading technology from Juniper, the network is pivotal to further enhancing the quality and speed of delivery of MLL’s existing and future services. For example, it will provide us with a more streamlined and automated solution for ordering parts and equipment from partners and suppliers. In the interests of seamless company-wide integration it’s also directly connected to our Network Operations Centre.
Regional Roadshows
During 2024 we will be staging a series of regional UK-wide roadshows. In a nutshell, we are coming to your region to help you gain new insights, make new connections and help turn your digital transformation strategies into reality. The one-day format is designed to be as thought-provoking as possible through informal networking and knowledge sharing. There will also be the opportunity to hear from industry experts.
Our inaugural roadshow event is for MLL’s existing and prospective Public Sector customers based in the East of England. It’s being held at high-flying Ipswich Town FC’s Portman Road stadium and comes at a perfect time with MLL having just renewed a long-term agreement with the Suffolk Cloud Partnership. This offers any Public Sector organisation in or close to East Anglia a highly streamlined approach to procurement, allowing faster and more straight forward access to network connectivity solutions and technologies. Along with Suffolk County Council and the other partners, all will be able to share equally in the economies of scale and expertise available.
Topics on the agenda for our 14th March East of England Roadshow include:
- Getting the best from Software Defined Networking
- Streamlining voice and collaboration services
- Proactively managing the cyber security threat
- The role of the IoT in future service delivery
Delegates will also hear from the MLL and Suffolk executive teams as well as a few of our key technology partners.
To attend please register here or contact your MLL contact for more details.
New office Headquarters
In April MLL will be moving into new modern, energy efficient, 4,500 sq ft premises in Marlow. Our new HQ will comfortably accommodate all of our office based staff in ergonomically designed workspaces, together with meeting rooms and a spacious restaurant. Furthermore, the move provides a cost-efficient solution which is fully aligned to modern working practices by enabling 80 or more of our employees the flexibility to enjoy a highly productive work/life balance through a combination of in office and remote home working.
Added to a string of recent new contract successes and more in the pipeline, what’s not to like!
