MLL Telecom will be using DigiTech21 on 09/12/21 to showcase its market leading managed network service capabilities to the UK’s Public Sector. These encompass Full Fibre network upgrades and deployments as well as managed secure WAN, SDWAN, UC, Wi-Fi, Cloud Infrastructure and Firewall Security solutions.
Andrew Shilton, MLL’s Head of Solutions is speaking at the conference. His presentation “Fixed or Mobile? Will you even have a network in 5 years’ time” will consider whether the rise of 5G is really going to challenge the 25- year status quo of the fixed managed network.
In the Public Sector – especially among UK local authorities – MLL has successfully become a significant market challenger to the incumbent top tier Telecom and IT Consulting providers. Crowning this, the company is the No 1 supplier to NHS Digital for the nationwide HSCN healthcare network, based on company turnover to network circuits deployed. MLL is the only SME on the HSCN accredited supplier list.
Following a record year in 2020, this year is proving to be even stronger for MLL in terms of Public Sector contract wins and renewals. MLL is on all the relevant procurement frameworks and continues to win new customers via these frameworks as well as winning additional work from existing customers. At the same time, MLL has continued to deliver industry leading customer satisfaction with a current net promoter score (NPS) exceeding 35 points.
A few of the most recent successes include the winning of a £20M, 10-year Full Fibre deployment and managed network services contract from the South East Grid which initially involves the connection of more than 500 sites across several local authority areas in East Sussex and South East England. In addition, earlier this year MLL agreed the second phase of a Full Fibre WAN services contract with ASELA where five Essex local authority regions are being upgraded to FTTP, eventually reaching 500 sites.
Moreover, at Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, MLL is now completing the roll out of one of the largest UK SDWAN deployments involving 360 fire and rescue stations, including sites in remote highland and island locations.
These organisations join MLL local authority customers such as EastNet, Fife Council, Nottingham County Council and Portsmouth City Council.
Commented Jeremy Wastie, Head of Public Sector Sales, MLL Telecom: “MLL Telecom is bringing much needed innovation and excellent customer service to the market. We have made significant steps and investment to create superior offerings to our customers and bring greater choice.
