HISP Multi Academy Trust awards MLL managed network services contract

Company’s first customer win via Everything ICT Framework

MLL Telecom, a leading provider of secure managed network services to the UK Public Sector, is pleased to announce the award of a contract from Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Southampton and Portsmouth (HISP) Multi Academy Trust (MAT).

This is MLL’s first contract procured through the DfE approved Everything ICT Framework since being accepted on to the service less than three months ago. Valued at c. £250,000, the agreement includes the option to extend the initial three year contract term for a further two years.

For ensuring a smooth transition, HISP MAT required a single network provider to upgrade its existing wide area network to a managed service solution leveraging high speed full fibre connections and ensuring compliance with DfE Digital standards. MLL’s network solution, including Fortinet firewall security technologies, will encompass all six of HISP MAT’s schools in Hampshire with the intention to extend to two further schools on the Isle of Wight in the near future.

Founded in 2020, HISP Multi Academy Trust has expanded to include eight schools across the South of England and the Isle of Wight. These include Thornden, Highcliffe, Danebury, Crofton, Portswood, Tanners Brook, Carisbrooke College and Medina College (including the Island VI Form).

In addition to schools, Everything ICT can be used by any public sector organisation. It has become popular with areas such as Health because of the ease of use, the wide range of trusted suppliers and compliance with procurement regulations.
