MLL Telecom has a strong history of working on behalf of the police and fire services, current customers include Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue and Nottinghamshire Police. We design networks using the best mix of wireless, local loop unbundling (LLU) and fibre circuits.
With over 5,000 connections across the UK and our own wireless spectrum (at 32GHz & 40GHz), we're able to quickly deploy interference free point-to-point wireless services whilst keeping costs down. Our wireless spectrum is our own, so we don't have to wait for allocation from Ofcom. As we are an Ofcom licensed operator we also have access to the exchanges to deploy local loop unbundling (LLU). Our pricing structure is really flexible: customers can choose a rental model, capex model or any combination of the two.
24/7 monitoring by our dedicated Network Operations Centre engineers
What's more, we're proactive about managing our networks and do so around the clock from our dedicated Network Operations Centre. Our engineers are on hand to take calls directly and, in 90% of cases, they detect network faults before they are reported by the customer. We also have an in-house field force of engineers who are on call 24×7 should any fault occur that needs on-site maintenance. Their range of expertise means faults can be fixed within hours, without having to wait for an external contractor.
We've got a full range of planning and design services in-house (from site acquisition and planning consent to line of sight surveys) and use all our expertise to make sure our customers' networks represent excellent value for money through the lifetime of the design. In a recent project, for example, we found that we could reduce costs for our customer by 50% by mounting wireless link antenna on a wooden telegraph pole rather than on a conventional wooden-clad monopole.

Defined SLAs
Once a network is operational, we will provide defined SLAs on every link. We realise that information is of limited use by itself, which is why we also generate management reports to help our customers measure the performance of their network against that SLA.
Secure - compliant to GCSx
Security is crucial to our blue light customers. For peace of mind, we demonstrate our major commitment to security compliance, meeting the requirements necessary for GCSx connection. All networks are also built to adopt the PSN.
