All 5.8GHz Fixed Wireless Access falls into this category. The licensing regime for these products is a lot more relaxed and, as a reflection of this, is less expensive. Frequency allocations are not guaranteed and pre-emptive (as in licensed spectrum) but the benefits of service cost, performance and speed of deployment make this an excellent bearer for local access, non mission-critical applications.
