Leased Line

A leased line is a communication line that has been leased for dedicated private use. In certain contexts, it is known as a dedicated line. Typically, companies rent leased lines from MLL Telecom to interconnect different geographic locations within their company network. The alternative is to buy and maintain their own private lines, or use public switched lines with secure message protocols. Unlike normal dial-up connections, a leased line is always active, has no per minute charges and has a generally higher Availability.
