Last mile
The final leg in delivering connectivity. Often perceived as the most critical in terms of both service provision and ownership of the customer relationship. To solve the problem of providing enhanced services over the last mile, some firms are beginning to mix networks. One example is Fixed Wireless Access, where a wireless network is used instead of fibre and copper cables.
