MLL Telecom awarded Premium Partner status by Alvarion

MLL Telecom (www.mlltelecom.com), the leading UK provider of managed wireless backhaul networks, has been working with Alvarion for five years now. It has built wireless broadband networks using Alvarion’s equipment across the UK including one for North Yorkshire County Council. MLL Telecom will continue to use Alvarion’s equipment for providing broadband access to businesses and homes that are not covered by the incumbent’s fixed and wireless broadband networks, or where connectivity is only available on less than favourable commercial terms.
Alvarion is a key vendor of equipment for wireless broadband networks providing non-line-of sight systems to carriers, ISPs and private network operators. Maravedis, a leading broadband wireless analyst firm, reported that in 2006 Alvarion’s WiMAX market share was 56% of all deployments worldwide on top of the company’s 20% wireless broadband market share overall.
Premium Partner is the highest level of certification within Alvarion’s Partner Programme, and is meant for integrators and resellers with national coverage and superior sale targets and business objectives. The Programme promotes additional business opportunities and a secure competitive position, providing partners with improved training, certification, marketing and technical support.
